We invite you to volunteer with us! Team COCI is proud to partner with and support triathlon race directors in producing successful events. Team members along with family and friends volunteer not only to have fun and enjoy the triathlon excitement but because it supports children in need. In return for event volunteering, race directors have generously offered to donate to Cherish Our Children International (COCI). We truly value this partnership because working together we impact our community.
In 2010, we had:
17 volunteers at Gateway to the Bay Triathlon
28 volunteers at Memorial Hermann Ironman 70.3 Texas
10 volunteers at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land
30 volunteers at Bridgeland
15 volunteers at Houston Triathlon
25 volunteers at Try Andy's Triathlon

In 2011, we had:
17 volunteers at Kemah Triathlon
15 volunteers at 14th Annual Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Triathlon
21 volunteers at Bridgeland Triathlon
16 volunteers at Houston Triathlon
13 volunteers at Try Andy's Triathlon
14 volunteers at Katy Firethorne Triathlon

In 2012, so far we have had:
10 volunteers at 2nd Annual Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Half Marathon

"Inspired.....
Have you ever been amazed by a blind man, running a road race with his toggled partner? Have you ever seen a 79 year old woman finish a triathlon? Have you ever witnessed the joy of a nine year old girl sprinting to the finish line? These were just a few of the special moments from our volunteer day in Houston.
Angelica Robles, a co-worker and Ironman competitor, organized our employer's Community Day project. On Sunday morning 10/16/11, our team volunteered to assist athletes during the Try Andy's Tri Sprint Triathlon in Sugarland, TX. Our efforts helped support Cherish Our Children International, a non-profit organization which sponsors and implements programs that benefit thousands of children worldwide. It was a fun and rewarding experience for everyone."

"My 7 year old daughter and I had a great time volunteering with Team COCI at the triathlon! We got to greet the athletes as they crossed the finish line which was very exciting. It was amazing to watch all of these athletes. It is always nice to get together with other teammates and give back to the community. I look forward to next year’s volunteer event."
